The London School of Racialized Leaders is a youth-led grassroots organization that aims to empower racialized 18-29-year-old youth into transformational industry and community leaders.

Since our conception in 2021, we’ve accumulated $27,710.00 of unpaid labour.

Pilot Episode Launch: Reflections of Racialized Leaders

In partnership with Living Hyphen, our team created a pilot podcast episode, Reflections of Racialized Leaders, to introduce our podcast series “Envisioning an Anti-Racist London”. Our vision behind the podcast series is to reclaim narrative power and honor living memory through storytelling. Reflections of Racialized Leaders production was funded by the Rising Youth grant.

Envisioning an Anti-Racist London
through Storytelling 

On July 7th 2022, Platform Canada  co-presented “Envisioning an Anti-Racist London through Storytelling”. This virtual event centres stories by creators raised in London, ON - including a film discussion of “Embers in the Forest” by Hasan Barzak of Virtue25 Productions and “Envisioning an Anti-Racist London” podcast produced Living Hyphen and Racialized Leaders. 

Moderator: Teigan Elliott who is a student, writer, and Co-Founder of LiberAsian London, which is a student-run org that aims to build community and promote solidarity among the Asian community here in London, and with other marginalized and oppressed peoples.
